Justification Through FAITH

Okay so I haven't posted in a while, because things have been carAAAAZY. BUT. I do have some fun photos to post of a shoot I did with Rach and Nick, and I am going to post those in a MINUTE. But first, I wanted to explain why Christianity is different then every other "religion" even though I wouldn't even call Christianity a religion, because ew it sounds so informal and cold and boring. It's a relationship, anyways... It's going to take me like 5 sentences.

"So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified (made right with God the Father) BY FAITH IN CHRIST and not by observing the law (being a good person), because by observing the law NO ONE will be justified."
- Galatians 2:16.

There you have it. I don't know about you but I constantly find myself trying to be "good" so that when I die, I'll be sure that I'm going to heaven because of my "goodness". Unfortunately, that's not the case. And every day I find myself having to preach that to myself, so it becomes real in my heart. But let me tell you.... When it becomes real in my heart, there is no freer, joyful, peaceful, loving, AMAZING feeling in my heart and mind and body. Because the joy of the Lord is my STRENGTH!

It's allllll about Jesus. Not about us.


Zack has 2 draft posts sitting in this blog that I guess he has been trying to get up there... So I'm hoping he's going to update us all soon with how life in the DESERT is going.
