Please Pray

2 important Things I want to cover in this post...

The first is I would ask you to please pray for my best friend from my childhood, Liz. I have known Liz and her family since I was 2 years old, maybe even longer than that. Liz was always my best friend, and Liz's older brother Story was my brother Jeff's best friend. A few years ago, Story passed away in his sleep. It was heartbreaking for the entire family. It was so hard. Liz's dad has been battling cancer now for a few years, and just yesterday morning he finally went to be with Jesus. Liz, her mom, and her sister need so much prayer as they deal not only with the pain of losing their Dad, but their brother just a few years ago. I seriously can't imagine the heartbreak they are dealing with. But please just pray for comfort! Story and his dad John Jenks were strong believers in Jesus Christ as their one and only Savior, so we know that they are dancing together with the angels right now. They are free from pain, and we can be joyful, but death is the hardest thing to deal with in this life...

"Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father. Great is thy faithfulness. Morning by morning new mercies, I see. All I have needed Thy hand hath provideth. Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me."

Jeff & Story probably around ages of 9-10ish.

The Jenks minus Story 2 summers ago.

The second important topic is care packages to Zack. Right now February is looking pretty promising for his homecoming! Thank the Lord!! BUT, because of that, they are closing down CLB-46's mail boxes. SO, if you haven't sent a package to Zack, or would like to, it needs to be sent out by December 31st (Thursday), otherwise it won't make it to him! Thank you SO much to everyone who took the time to send him your love through packages. Every time he got something he would tell me about it right away and just kept expressing his gratefulness for you all. It really says a lot, and we both appreciate it so much!!
