I spent the entire day on Saturday with Zack's family. It was great to be around his flesh and blood, and as WEIRD as that sounds, haha, it helps to surround myself with people that remind me of him, and have some of his great qualities. His sister, Rachel, who I am growing rapidly closer with has Zack's laugh, which makes me happy =)
Zack has been taking Gunner courses for the past 2 days, and now they're practicing shooting today and probably for the rest of the week. He's been shooting Mark 19 Grenade Launchers
and 240 Bravo machine guns (Zack is not pictured in these photos).
And I'm sure I don't have to tell you all this, because anyone who knows Zack will know, but he LOVES it.
I read something that is always an extreme comfort and can make my soul rest at ease. I want to share it with you all.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the Lord.
THANK the Lord I have the Big Guy up there watching over me & Zack, and that is what gets me through on a daily basis, without that comfort, I really don't know how I'd get through. I'm excited to see how God is going to bless us through this entire situation. I can already feel how much me & Zack have grown in our relationship with each other, as well as in our relationship with our heavenly Father, just in these 3 weeks! Thanks for caring about us and keeping us in your prayers. We need it!
I'll sign off with the famous words from a well known artist known as Soulja Boy... "boy you know i miss you, i just wanna kiss you, but i can't right now so baby kiss me thru the phone.." :)

Must be hard having the hubby so far. . . I miss Tanner when he goes to home depot for an hour! You're very brave and oh so cute! I will kiss you thru MY phone:)
