I haven't felt very "Bakey" or "Cooky" or "Chefy" lately...
Meaning I haven't really felt like being creative in the kitchen. I think I go through stages where some days I'm totally up for making "BUUUUFFF BOURGUIGNONNN" -- (Beef Bourguignon in Julia Childs' voice... duh), but other days all I need is a hotdog in a bun with some ketchup. Borrrreeeennng. And artery-clogging. I know. Don't judge me.
Where am I going with thisrambling post... Great question. I made French Onion Dip... From scratch!! No I did not use the mix. That would not be from scratch. I actually caramelized the onions.. added the spices... and did it all by myfelf. Yes, I said myfelf.
