Press the "Play" button above. Pretend your eyes are closed. Picture yourself sitting on a front porch in a comfy chair. The breeze is blowing a nice soft breeze, but it's so warm that the breeze feels amazing. Your skin is crispy and warm from the sun. The coffee that you're sipping is refreshing and delicious. The neighbors that stroll by are all smiles. The skies are blue. The grass and trees are green. And the best part:: wind chimes, chiming oh so softly that it adds the perfect soundtrack to life at the moment.

Avalon. Always cooler by a mile.

My grandparents owned the CUTEST little beach house for my entire childhood. These are my grandparents, looking as fabulous as ever, and this is the cutest little beach house ever.

That place holds a lot of nostalgia, meaning, sentiment, and honestly my taste buds start watering every time I walk in the door. My Pop and Nan made the most amazing meals I have ever tasted in my life to this day. I've wanted to recreate Avalon in my own home. I want to be able to sit on a porch, feel an amazing breeze and listen to the wind chimes tink a beautiful melody. And folks, we did it.

We found the ugliest little wind chime. He's so ugly he's actually sort of cute. But he plays the sweetest musical chimes I've ever heard. In fact, when you pressed "Play" above, you were listening to his sweet sound. Sitting on our porch, closing my eyes, feeling the breeze, hearing the chimes.... It's perfection, and I can easily feel myself slipping back into the days at the Shore.
