2 years ago today, 2 people said "I do".
2 years ago today, there were feelings of love, excitement, hope, anticipation, happiness, joy.
2 years ago today, there was an unforgiving, dark cloud that was approaching.
Zack and I got officially, privately married on February 21st, 2009. It was a warm, sunny February afternoon in Philadelphia. The sun was shining, faces were smiling, our hearts were bursting. It truly was amazing. The only attendees were immediate family, 3 best friends, and 2 wedding crashers. Everything went absolutely perfectly.
While this was one of the happiest days of our lives, we also knew that the time for us to say goodbye for almost a year was quickly approaching. God has graciously brought us through a long deployment, and I know that his hand has been in everything that we have gone through in our relationship. In a world filled with broken relationships and divorce, we are so thankful to have the one Person on our side who fills our relationship with peace and love for each other. Without Him we would be destined to fail.
Happy Two Year Anniversary, my love!! We have such a unique story, and I know that God has and will continue to make us stronger for it. Love you molto ;)
