Post-Thanksgiving Turkey

It's December 1st! WOW. Just in time for Turkey!!!

Wait... Rewind. Turkey?

Yes. Turkey. And the best Turkey in the world. Let me explain.

In all the days of my long and prosperous life, I have never ever made a turkey. Or ANY Thanksgiving Day dish for that matter. So, I decided that I had had enough of this "Thanksgiving Day Meal Grinch" attitude and tackle the Turkey.

We have been waiting in anticipation for DAYS as that gross looking THING has been defrosting in my refrigerator. Ew. That's all I have to say. But the time came yesterday to DRESS that naked turkey. I found an amazing recipe online for Herb-Glazed Roasted Turkey.

Did it turn out you asked???? ........... Moment of silence.

The silence is because words cannot DESCRIBE how delicious this turkey was. It was honestly the best turkey I've ever eaten in my entire life. Meat, just falling off the bones. Even the white meat was juicy and delicious.

The master going to work...

No literally. I wish I could blog post a bite of this scrumptulescent turkey so you could all enjoy it with us!! And now we have leftovers! Turkey sandwiches here we come!

And in the spirit of December 1st... We are starting to festive-ate! Woo!

Don't worry. My new word "Festive-ate" will spread like wildfire. You watch.
