Yesterday was a pretty eventful day. It rained like crazy for most of the afternoon, but thankfully in the morning I was able to take my motorcycle to Lowe's and get some paint. Wall paint. Paint for the walls. Well a wall. A wall in the living room. Ok enough talking about the wall. I might as well just show it to you.
S0o this wall is blue. Cyan to be exact. CAN YOU DEAL WITH THAT! (from meet the Fockers)
That only took me a few hours which brings me to my next story.
I have taken up road biking. There is a trail that is pretty close to the apartment. I do about a 7.5-10 mile loop almost everyday. Usually not on Sundays. Well yesterday was no different. The rain stopped for a little while so I thought it was the perfect time to leave. As I am riding down the street heading to the trail, a lizard runs out in front of me and I run it over. I felt really bad cause it was so small, but that's life. I get onto the trail and I am riding on the pavement and out of the woods comes a SQUIRREL!!!! This situation was beginning to look a lot like the lizard from earlier. Everything slows down and I watch this squirrel run towards the line I am riding on. Mind you this all happens in a matter of three or four seconds. I look down as this squirrel runs right into my path. I can see its eyes and its face and I sense its terror. This is exactly what it looked like right before I ran it over with my bike tires. Now time out for a second. I know you are thinking, "Why didn't you move," "Why didn't you stop." I had no time to react. This poor little squirrel was an IDIOT to get hit by a bicycle. I am only moving at like 15mph and I am on a little paved trail, not the street. Anyway, I turn around to see if the squirrel was still moving and he seems to look at me and then run back into the woods as if it had no idea what just happened. I am sure it didn't know what happened.
While on the last leg of my road trip my tire pops and I have to change it. That's not really that interesting, but I had to put it in there because it was the first time that I had to do that and I felt pretty cool. I was on the side of the road looking like a was some kind of professional biker who knows how to change their tire in a flash. Well it probably took me four or five flashes but no one knows that.
Well I guess that's it. There isn't really much else to say. I hope you enjoyed the stories and the blue wall. Til next time, this is Zack Viscomi sayin, stay classy San Diego.
