Hi everyone!!

Zack is doing well... still no news on the Afghan crap. But no news is good news at this point! :) God is doing amazing things in our lives. He is growing us in His trust every day, so you can thank Him for that :) It is still extremely rough, an emotional rollercoaster is more like it... But God is good and there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. I sent Zack a package the other day with basically Halloween in a box. (Halloween is a very special holiday for us ;) Ask either one of us if you want to know why). He and Jennings decorated the whole room and he said his room was definitely the scariest on base. HA. Anyways, I thought I would include some protective eyewear for Zack, b/c you know, he needs to protect his eyes on convoys and stuff. I think they fit perfectly!!!







I'm SO glad he's getting some good use out of them!! OH YEAH. I forgot to tell everyone. I took a short VACAY to Iraq last week. It was a blast, here's the story behind it: "Well, I went to Iraq to visit Zack for a little bit. and I met his new best friends out there, Gabir and Hakim. I tried to interest them in a game of football, but they were too busy shooting wild donkeys and zebras, so instead we started playing the "who can make yourself look like a zombie more" game. I'm not really sure who won though. it was a close call. what good times!"
