Happy Fathers Day to all the great dads out there. I know he might drop dead when he reads this but I seriously have the bestest Dad in the world. No no, REALLY though. He has the greatest sense of humor, and has been a really great spiritual leader to me over the years. He is a great example to me in a lot of areas, but 2 specifically is Humility and Servanthood. Holler back, Dad, thanks to you I have inherited the world's greatest smile. Cheese!

I think Zack and I have both been struggling hard with feelings of homesickness. Obviously, I mean homesickness for each other. So pray that we will rely on the Lord every day more and more and MORE. Until every breath is relied on Him for. It's really hard, but we both know it's in God's hands. And it's SO helpful to be reminded of that on a day to day basis!
I saw this really cute, short quote yesterday that I liked. And so I wanted to show what I saw in my mind when I heard it.
"I'm the pink in his world of camo."

Kinda cute, right?
In other news, I had dinner with Jess Hardy the other day. (Thank the Lord for the sunshine that came out for an hour!) Jess's fiance Brian is one of Zack's closest friend in the Corps. They're in the same battalion and are going to be spending LOTS of time together this next year. It's so great having someone to talk to that knows and understands the frustrations and hardships of daily life. Jess is SUPER cool and awesome and I can't wait to take her & Brian's engagement photos when the boys get back.

It's kind of funny how we're both GLUED to our phones these days...
Oh yeah, I fixed the settings on this blog so that ANYone can post now. So sorry if you tried commenting before and it didn't work, it should now.
Don't forget to give your Dads a High-Five today, everyone! They deserve it.
